Located in North Bay, Ontario since 1978, this family owned and operated business has built a solid reputation by providing cost effective, world class product to OEM manufacturers.  We pride ourselves on being able to provide complete fabrication, machining, and finishing solutions to meet our customers ever growing requirements.  This has allowed us to grow our business to what it is today.  Operating out of our 8600 square foot facility since 1978, business had steadily grown to the point where in 2005, expansion plans were set in motion.

In May of 2005, a 3 1/2 acre property was purchased across the street from our original facility and construction was completed in January 2006 on a brand new, state of the art, 20,000 square foot fabrication and machining facility. 

The original 8600 square foot facility was retrofitted and turned into a finishing and assembly shop, further enhancing our "value added" capabilities.

Construction began in August 2007 of a 10,000 square foot addition to our main site to house our growing machining demands.  The addition was completed in December 2007 with our machine shop now fully operational and poised for growth.

With the addition of an engineering department in January of 2007, Metal Fab has the ability to take your project from start to finish.

In early 2007, a plan to aggressively target CNC machining as an area of growth was developed and implemented.  In may, we acquired a new CNC Mill and CNC Lathe.  With the equipment operating at full capacity in a relatively short period of time, we acquired additional equipment in 2008 with the purchase of an additional 2 mills and 1 lathe.
